At Hannah Marie Cosmetics, we want you to love your purchase. This Returns Policy explains your rights and how to return products purchased from us.

This policy applies to purchases made via our website or direct online sales.

1. Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumers)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

Cancellation Period
  • You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

2. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused

  • Items must be unopened

  • Items must be in their original packaging

  • Hygiene seals (where applicable) must be intact

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Opened or used cosmetic products

  • Personal care items where the seal has been broken

This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty.

3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method

  • Original delivery costs will be refunded (standard delivery only)

You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

We do not take any responsiblity for items lost in transit.

4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality

  • Fit for purpose

  • As described

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 14 days of receipt

  • Provide photographic evidence where possible

  • Do not dispose of the product until advised

We will offer:

  • A replacement

  • A repair (where appropriate)

  • Or a full refund

If an item is confirmed faulty, we will cover reasonable return postage costs.

5. Allergies and Skin Sensitivities

Our products may contain:

  • Essential oils

  • Fragrance oils

  • Nut-based oils

  • Botanical ingredients

Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists prior to purchase.

We strongly recommend carrying out a patch test before full use.

We cannot offer refunds for allergic reactions where ingredients were clearly listed and no fault is present.

If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

6. Mystery Boxes

Mystery Boxes may be returned under the 14-day cancellation period provided:

  • All products remain unopened and unused

Mystery Boxes cannot be returned solely because you dislike the selected items.

7. Sale Items

Sale or clearance items are eligible for return under statutory rights unless stated otherwise.

However, promotional or discounted pricing will be reflected in any refund issued.

9. Processing Times

Please allow:

  • Up to 5 working days for us to inspect returned goods

  • Up to 10 working days for funds to appear in your account (depending on your bank)

This Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
